Loris Homes for Sale

Loris Homes for Sale, shopped with Lane Sherman of Sherman Beach Group at eXp Realty, serving Loris. Call (717) 778-1554 or use the contact form.

Loris homes for sale are an inland Horry County search. Loris real estate is yards, a small downtown, and a drive to North Myrtle Beach or Myrtle Beach, not a condo on the sand.

Lane Sherman shops Loris when the brief is space and a town, then a beach day on your own schedule. Search Loris, compare Longs and Aynor, or call (717) 778-1554.

Inland on purpose

Loris sits in northern Horry County, well off the oceanfront. Highway 701 is the spine people use. The downtown is a small-town main street, not a tourist strip. Buyers who arrive from the beach and expect a second boardwalk are in the wrong place. Buyers who want a house, a yard, and a grocery run that is not seasonal are closer to the point.

The housing mix is detached homes, older houses on established streets, newer houses on lots that still feel rural at the edge of town, and the occasional patio or villa product. There is no oceanfront tower to confuse with a cottage. That simplicity is useful. You can talk about the lot, the roof, and the drive instead of a master insurance policy in a high-rise.

We do not publish school rankings, crime figures, or price decks. If those topics matter to you, read the public sources yourself and then tell us what you saw. Our job is the house and the town as they live, not a score.

The drive to the Strand

Loris is a drive to North Myrtle Beach, Little River, and Myrtle Beach. How long that drive feels depends on the hour and on whether you are going to the sand for a Saturday or commuting it every day. We will not sell the town as “minutes from the ocean” and then watch you resent the road. Tour it at the time you would actually travel.

People compare Loris with Conway, which has a larger historic downtown and the county seat, and with Longs, which is less of a town and more of a Highway 9 community closer to the state line. Aynor is the other small Horry town, farther west on Highway 501. One Saturday can hold Loris and one of those, not all of them.

If the beach house was the original idea and the yard appeared later, keep Carolina Forest on the list. It is closer to Myrtle Beach shopping and usually a newer master-planned feel. Loris is the smaller downtown and the more rural edge.

What to look at in the house

Inland houses still need a roof, drainage, and an honest look at additions. A large lot is only an asset if you want to maintain it. Septic and well conversations show up more often here than in a Myrtle Beach condo stack. Ask. Do not assume city services because the listing feels suburban.

Outbuildings, workshops, and acreage change the buyer. We will not market a house on a large lot as a lock-and-leave plan. If you travel for months at a time, say so. A condo or a townhome may be the cleaner fit, and we would rather say that than sell you a yard you will not mow.

New construction appears in pockets. Bring your own representation to a model home so lot choices and options get a second set of eyes. The new construction page covers that habit for the Strand. The same habit belongs in Loris.

A straight search

This page opens active Loris listings when the feed has them. A small town can be quiet. Empty is not a verdict. Ask Lane to keep the search and call you when a house matches the lot and the drive you described.

Sherman Beach Group is in Myrtle Beach. We work Loris because clients ask for inland Horry County in the same breath as the beaches. Call (717) 778-1554. If you are selling, a home estimate should stay inside Loris comps and admit when Conway or Longs is only context.

Start here for Loris homes for sale. Leave for the ocean pages when the sand becomes the point again. Both can be true in one move. They should not be the same showing list.
